Level 2 Teaching Assistant Location: TraffordContract: Full-time (Monday to Friday), ASAP StartSalary: £93 - £100 PAYE per day (dependent on experience)Hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

About the Role:Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our a Primary School in Trafford. Based in KS2, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support to students in a nurturing classroom. You will also work 1:1 with students with SEND across the class. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young learners while developing your own professional skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the delivery of learning activities and lessons for students with SEND.
\n
• Provide one-to-one support or work with small groups of students.
\n
• Help students develop their social, emotional, and academic skills.
\n
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
\n
• Contribute to creating an inclusive, safe, and supportive classroom environment.
\n

About You:

\n
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
\n
• Experience working with SEND students is beneficial but not essential.
\n
• A positive and flexible approach with a genuine passion for working with children.
\n
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
\n
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting the individual needs of students.
\n
