\nAre you a caring, patient and proactive individual looking to make a genuine difference in a young person's life?
\nWe are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a wonderful 13-year-old boy attending a secondary school in Chelsea from September. This is a highly rewarding role supporting a student with a degenerative condition who is non-verbal and requires consistent physical support throughout the school day.
\nThe student has a gentle, friendly personality and a great sense of humour. He enjoys being around others and thrives when supported by someone who can encourage social interaction, engagement in lessons and participation in school life. Your role will involve accompanying him throughout the day, providing physical assistance, helping him access learning activities and encouraging positive interactions with his peers.
\nThis position would suit someone who is compassionate, energetic and confident supporting young people with complex needs. Previous experience within SEN, care, support work, sports coaching or youth work would be highly beneficial, although a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.

- Providing 1:1 support throughout the school day \n
- Assisting with mobility and physical support needs \n
- Encouraging social interaction and participation in lessons \n
- Supporting engagement with learning activities \n
- Working closely with teaching staff and other professionals \n
- Building a positive and trusting relationship with the student \n
