MLA is working on an exciting interim Legal Counsel opportunity with a fast-growing, publicly listed technology business operating at the intersection of sports data, digital markets and fintech.

The organisation provides critical data and analytics products to a global customer base and is expanding into new, high-growth sectors. They operate in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with a genuinely international footprint across Europe and North America.

The Role

This is a broad commercial legal position supporting European operations and partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

The successful lawyer will advise on a variety of matters including:

• Commercial contracts

• Technology and IP issues
\n
• Data privacy
\n
• Regulatory and compliance matters
\n
• Corporate governance and entity management
\n
• General day-to-day legal support for European operations
\n

You'll join a lean, highly visible legal team where lawyers are expected to provide concise, commercial and practical advice that helps the business move quickly and make decisions.

• Approximately 2-7 PQE (guideline only)

• Prior in-house experience is essential

• Commercially minded and pragmatic

• Confident dealing directly with senior management

• Someone who can build relationships quickly and operate with a high degree of autonomy
