Administrative Assistant – Operations Support (Contract)
\nLocation: Aberdeen, UK
\nContract Duration: Approximately 6 months
\nWork Type: Onsite
\nWe are currently looking for a highly organised Administrative Assistant to support a busy Operations team within a global engineering and industrial services environment.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and supporting operational teams with documentation, reporting, supplier coordination, and project administration.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Operations team. \n
- Maintain tracking spreadsheets for equipment and personnel costs. \n
- Create purchase requisitions and maintain accurate operational records. \n
- Support equipment mobilisation and demobilisation activities. \n
- Assist with pre-job and post-job administration, ensuring documentation is complete and accurately filed. \n
- Maintain project trackers and update operational plans throughout the year. \n
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for third-party equipment and services. \n
- Create and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and departmental documentation. \n
- Support cross-functional teams during periods of holiday or sickness cover. \n
- Ensure accurate record keeping while maintaining compliance with company procedures. \n
Required Skills & Experience
\n- \n
- Previous experience in an Administrative Assistant, Operations Administrator, Project Administrator, or Office Administrator role. \n
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. \n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills. \n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. \n
- High attention to detail with excellent record-keeping abilities. \n
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. \n
- Experience using CRM or business systems is beneficial. \n
- Experience with Oracle, Maximo, or similar ERP systems would be an advantage. \n
