With a strong pipeline of secured projects and continued investment in the Bristol team, they are looking to appoint a Junior Mechanical Project Manager who wants to develop into a senior project delivery professional.This is not a role where you'll simply be given a project and left to get on with it.You'll work alongside experienced Project Managers and senior operational staff, gradually taking greater responsibility as your experience develops.The Company Our client is one of the UK's most respected Building Services contractors, delivering mechanical and electrical projects across healthcare, education, commercial and public sector developments.The business has built a strong reputation for quality delivery, but equally important is the environment they've created internally.The team is supportive, approachable and focused on developing people rather than simply filling positions.With the South West operation continuing to grow, this is an excellent time to join for someone who wants to build a long-term career within project management.The Role As Junior Mechanical Project Manager, you'll support the delivery of mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.Working alongside an experienced project team, you'll become increasingly involved in:Project planning and programmingProcurement of materials and subcontract packagesDesign coordinationManaging subcontractors and site teamsMonitoring programme and project progressHealth, safety and qualityCommercial and cost awarenessClient and consultant meetingsCommissioning and handoverYou'll gain exposure to the complete project lifecycle, with the intention that you progressively take ownership of larger packages and ultimately your own projects.Projects are predominantly based across Bristol and the surrounding area, meaning considerably less travelling than many Building Services roles.Why This Opportunity?
