About the role:

Generations People are currently looking for three Warehouse Operatives with FLT experience to join a team based in the Chesterfield, who would be responsible for supporting with the daily warehouse operation within the business.

All applicants must have or had a FLT forklift certification - (Counterbalance ideally).

This is a great opportunity to grow and develop, gain experience and with on-the-job training and progress within the company.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities for Warehouse FLT Operative:

• Using a forklift to load product onto a variety vehicles and locations around the warehouse.
\n
• Some manual handling is also required; so physical fitness is a must. This work is on a rotating shift pattern basis.
\n
• Working n-in goods in and despatch
\n
• Picking and packing duties
\n
• General housekeeping duties
\n
• Any other associated duties required
\n
• Operating a Forklift to transport materials and goods throughout the warehouse.
\n
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers safely and efficiently.
\n

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

\n
• A forklift license is required Client will complete refresher and conversion if required
\n
• You will need a good standard of written and spoken English and the ability to use a computer for these positions.
\n
• You must be punctual and have a responsible, can-do attitude.
\n
• You will be expected to use your initiative, undergo training and to work hard in support of a very busy team.
\n
• Have good attention to detail
