Job Description

\n

Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Consultant

\n

We're supporting a large media and publishing business that needs an experienced CRO Executive to cover a key internal role for around six months. You'll step into a live, established CRO function, reporting to the Head of CRO, and pick the work up quickly with minimal ramp-up. This is a hands-on delivery role, not a strategy-only one: you'll be running experiments day to day and driving measurable conversion improvements across app and web.

\n

What you'll be doing

\n
    \n
  • Owning and running app experimentation, including through Purchasely, plus web experimentation and wider CRO initiatives
  • \n
  • Designing, building and analysing A/B tests end to end, from hypothesis through to result and recommendation
  • \n
  • Using AI to accelerate and scale experimentation, bringing modern, AI-driven approaches to how tests are built and iterated
  • \n
  • Taking day-to-day direction from a senior CRO stakeholder while operating independently on delivery
  • \n
  • Turning experimentation results into clear, actionable insight that moves conversion and revenue metrics
  • \n
\n

What we're looking for

\n
    \n
  • 3+ years' in-house CRO experience (agency-only background is fine, but in-house is essential)
  • \n
  • A genuine hands-on tester: comfortable building and running A/B and multivariate experiments without support
  • \n
  • Experience with app and web experimentation; familiarity with Purchasely or comparable app-subscription/paywall experimentation tooling is a strong plus
  • \n
  • Practical experience using AI to push experimentation forward
  • \n
  • Technical enough to pick the role up and deliver from day one with no hand-holding
  • \n
  • A self-starter who's comfortable owning delivery in an established function
  • \n
\n
