The Opportunity\nAn exciting opportunity has become available for several experienced Communication Support Worker to join a supportive education provider in East London from September 2026.
\nWe are looking for enthusiastic professionals who are passionate about supporting deaf and hearing-impaired learners to achieve their full potential. The successful candidates will work closely with students across a variety of curriculum areas, providing high-quality communication and learning support.
\nThis opportunity would suit candidates from a range of backgrounds, including Further Education, schools, specialist education, residential care, supported living, or support work.
About You\nWe're keen to hear from candidates who have:
\n- \n
- BSL Level 4 or 6 (or equivalent) \n
- Experience supporting deaf or hearing-impaired individuals \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills \n
- A flexible and proactive approach to supporting learners \n
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues \n
Experience in any of the following roles would be highly desirable:

- BSL Interpreter \n
- Communication Support Worker \n
- Teacher of the Deaf \n
- Learning Support Practitioner \n
- Learning Support Assistant \n
- Specialist Support Worker \n
- SEND Support Worker \n
- Deaf Support Worker \n
- Teaching Assistant (BSL) \n
- Education Support Worker \n

- Temporary contract until July 2027 \n
- 30 hours per week \n
