We are on the lookout for a dynamic Repairs Contracts Manager to join a leading Housing Association's internal DLO team. This pivotal role is based in Beeston, Nottinghamshire, and offers a temp-to-perm arrangement.

Job Type: Temp to PermHourly Rate: £41ph umbrella (negotiable)

Role Overview:

\n

As a Repairs Contracts Manager, you will oversee the management of responsive repairs, ensuring the delivery of effective and value-driven service. You will lead a team, including four supervisors who manage trades, focusing on repairs and maintenance, adaptations, and minor capital work.

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Oversee the delivery of repairs and maintenance services, ensuring compliance with budgetary and policy constraints.
  • \n
  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of properties, specifying and valuing the extent of work to be undertaken.
  • \n
  • Ensure all team members adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • \n
  • Effectively manage client relationships, ensuring KPIs are met and all works are completed on time, within budget, and to the agreed standard.
  • \n
  • Provide relief cover for the Head of Delivery and assist in all aspects of their role.
  • \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in managing repair and maintenance work across multiple disciplines.
  • \n
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with databases and Microsoft Office packages.
  • \n
  • Proven project management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all team members.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of statutory and regulatory obligations related to the delivery of servicing programmes of work.
  • \n
  • Experience in contractor management and ensuring contract adherence.
  • \n
  • A valid driving licence is required as travel to other business locations is necessary.
