Are you experienced in supply chain planning, scheduling or supplier management within a complex manufacturing environment?

\n

We're looking for a Supply Chain Development Specialist to play a key role in supporting supplier performance, resolving supply chain challenges and ensuring critical parts are delivered on time.

\n

This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with suppliers, manufacturing, engineering and quality teams to identify risks, drive recovery plans and keep production moving.

The Role

  • Support suppliers in recovering performance and improving delivery.
  • \n
  • Visit suppliers across the Midlands to identify issues, implement recovery plans and build strong relationships.
  • \n
  • Monitor supplier performance and communicate risks to key stakeholders.
  • \n
  • Maintain supplier schedules and ensure MRP/ERP data is accurate.
  • \n
  • Assess the supply chain impact of engineering changes.
  • \n
  • Work collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to resolve supply issues.
  • \n
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base.
  • \n
  • Help optimise inventory while maintaining continuity of supply.
  • \n

About You

  • Supply Chain Execution

You'll also bring:

    \n
  • Experience within aerospace, defence or another complex manufacturing environment.
  • \n
  • A good understanding of MRP/ERP systems.
  • \n
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • \n
  • An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving ability.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of Lean or Continuous Improvement methodologies is desirable.
  • \n

Location & Travel

\n

This role is based in the Midlands and involves regular travel to supplier sites across the region, with occasional travel to the Prestwick office as required.

\n
