Step into a dynamic educational setting working with an elementary-aged caseload of approximately 50 students for the 26/27 school year. This opportunity is available for both full-time and part-time candidates interested in making a positive impact on young learners’ communication skills.

Ideal applicants are skilled in school-based speech-language pathology and enjoy collaborating within an academic environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current SLP license or credential (or eligibility) in California
  • Experience working in schools, especially with elementary-aged children, is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to both full-time and part-time schedules as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify speech, language, and communication needs among elementary students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of around 50 students
  • Attend and participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and student evaluations
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation and progress tracking
  • Serve as a resource to staff and families for speech-language development
