Step into a vital role supporting students’ communication needs within a collaborative school environment. This full-time contract opportunity is perfect for a Speech-Language Pathologist seeking to make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting. The position is available for both experienced Certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFs), offering an enriching professional experience.
Your assignment will run from late August 2026 through early June 2027, aligning with the academic calendar. Work on-site Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, engaging directly with students and collaborating with dedicated educational teams.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Minnesota SLP license (PDF copy required with application)
- SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but recent graduates eligible for Clinical Fellowship are encouraged to apply
- Prior school-based SLP experience helpful but not mandatory
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Dedication to fostering student growth in a supportive manner
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver speech and language therapy services aligned with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
