Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid state certification or ability to obtain school psychologist credential
• Previous experience in school settings, providing psychological services to children and adolescents
• Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and creating individualized educational recommendations
• Effective communicator comfortable working with diverse teams, students, and families
• Knowledge of RTI/MTSS framework and special education laws
• Strong organizational and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, behavioral, and socio-emotional needs
• Interpret assessment results and provide actionable recommendations for individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Offer short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and family members to address student needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to eligibility, intervention, and transition planning
• Provide support for school-wide positive behavior and mental health initiatives
• Maintain thorough documentation of services provided
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and state and federal regulations
