Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid OT license (Illinois or eligible for reciprocity)
  • Recent school-based experience or strong pediatric background preferred
  • Experience with pre-K population beneficial
  • Familiarity with conducting special education evaluations and IEP documentation
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy to 20-30 pre-K students over three days per week (22.5 hours: Monday-Wednesday)
  • Conduct special education evaluations and collaborate on assessments
  • Write and update IEPs as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to create effective treatment plans
