Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP licensure or eligibility in New York State
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience with elementary-aged students or pediatrics preferred
  • Skills in teletherapy and traditional school-based SLP services beneficial
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary school students in individual and group settings
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop student-centered treatment plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings, deliver progress updates, and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student success
