Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois SLP License required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Experience working within a school setting strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
• Compassionate, collaborative, and organized approach to therapy

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades 5–8
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
• Conduct assessments, write IEPs, and document student progress
• Support the overall communication environment within the school community
• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
