Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP License required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Experience working within a school setting strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Compassionate, collaborative, and organized approach to therapy
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades 5–8
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
- Conduct assessments, write IEPs, and document student progress
- Support the overall communication environment within the school community
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
