Job Description
Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with elementary students in a supportive and collaborative school environment. This contract-based position runs through June 2027 and offers the flexibility of both full-time (strongly preferred) and part-time hours, making it ideal for dedicated professionals who thrive in a hands-on role.
As an SLP, you will support K-6th grade students, with a manageable caseload capped at 55, focusing on fostering communication skills that will make a lasting impact on their education and development. Work onsite with committed educators and families to help every student reach their speech and language goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent)
- Valid CA state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Recent experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Genuine commitment to serving diverse student populations
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech therapy services for students in grades K-6
- Assess students and develop effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s unique needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
- Participate in meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
