Sentara is hiring a Medical Sonographer and Vascular Technologist III at the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, Virginia\n
\n
This is a Full-Time, Rotating shift opportunity with great benefits.\n
\n

\n
\nThe Medical Sonographer and Vascular Tech III performs diagnostic general/vascular ultrasound procedures at a technical level requiring independent judgment, under the direction of a qualified physician. Demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology, operation of sonography equipment, operation of the electronic radiology systems, preparation of patient room/equipment/medications, and maintains adequate supply inventory.\n
\n
\nExplains examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation. Performs non-invasive vascular testing procedures and writes preliminary interpretations. \n
\n
Qualifications:\n
\n
\nDegree in Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, related field or completion of a training program acceptable to their registry board, ARRT or ARDMS.\n
\n
\nRegistered ARRT or ARDMS required.\n
\n
\nUltrasound General and OB experience is preferred. \n
\n
