Exciting Inpatient Psychiatry Position in Waterbury, Connecticut.

Our organization is seeking a full-time Adult Psychiatrist to become a part of our growing regional behavioral health team at a local hospital in Waterbury, Connecticut.

Join a vibrant and collaborative psychiatry team dedicated to providing adult psychiatric services within our 12-bed inpatient unit. Our team is fully equipped with occupational and group therapists, social workers for individual therapy and case management, as well as a specialized insurance utilization review team. Additionally, you will have consistent access to medical and surgical support for any non-psychiatric concerns, including routine history and physical examinations.

This full-time role features a Monday to Friday schedule, along with a weekend call rotation of 1:4. There are also opportunities to increase your earnings through additional weekend shifts.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Connecticut license and be board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry. While experience is preferred, we also welcome recent graduates who are passionate about inpatient psychiatric care. Candidates who speak Spanish are especially encouraged to apply.
