In this full-time, contract position, you’ll be at the heart of a collaborative educational environment, working with two vibrant school communities: spending most of your week in one district before dedicating one day to another nearby. Your expertise will help students build vital skills for academic success and daily living.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license, with eligibility for practice in Michigan
  • Experience working in a school or pediatric setting
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Ability to conduct assessments and deliver goal-driven interventions
  • Strong advocacy and collaboration abilities when partnering with teachers, parents, and administrators
  • Reliable transportation to commute between district campuses as assigned

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct OT services to students across elementary and secondary grade levels
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with each student’s needs and IEP goals
  • Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations to identify students requiring services
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and contribute input to IEP meetings
  • Collaborate closely with educational teams to support student participation and functional skills in the classroom
  • Offer consultative support for teachers in adapting classroom materials and routines
