Job Description
Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a valuable school psychologist. This full-time position offers the chance to work closely with students in a single building, helping foster their academic, social, and emotional growth. A part-time schedule (3-4 days onsite) may also be considered for the right candidate.
In this role, you’ll meet a diverse group of students, including those with autism, learning disabilities, speech and language differences, and hearing impairments. Your work will center on both assessment and direct student support—balancing testing and evaluations with counseling.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Ability to handle both initial and reevaluations
- Comfortable providing counseling and assessment for a variety of student needs
- Welcoming applications from new graduates
- Experience (or enthusiasm) working with students from a range of backgrounds and abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and testing (supporting approximately 50 students)
- Perform initial evaluations (up to 10) and necessary reevaluations
- Provide counseling services for around 10 students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to design effective interventions and student supports
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulations and timelines
