Job Description
Step into a rewarding Speech-Language Pathology opportunity supporting K-6 students in an engaging school environment. This on-site contract position offers the chance to play a pivotal role in the academic and social development of up to 55 students from now through June 2027. With a flexible approach to scheduling, the school is open to part-time candidates but has a strong preference for a full-time commitment (35-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday).
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Previous school-based experience or strong clinical background working with children (K-6 preferred)
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong documentation and case management abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-6 students in individual and group settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in IEP meetings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Offer consultation and support to educators and families, ensuring optimal student communication outcomes
