Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Arizona (or eligibility for licensure)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows will be considered
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is desirable
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students referred for speech and language issues using appropriate evaluation tools and techniques
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and set attainable goals for students
• Deliver direct speech and language therapy, both individually and in small groups
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to support student academic and social development
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in line with district and legal requirements
• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and team meetings as needed
• Offer professional insight and recommendations to colleagues regarding student needs and best practices
