This full-time, onsite role offers a chance to make a direct impact within a vibrant school community located near Olympia, WA. With multiple openings at high school, middle school, and elementary levels, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and fellow specialists to provide exceptional speech-language services.
Bring your expertise to a dedicated team for 37.5 hours weekly, fostering student growth and empowerment from September 9, 2026, through June 16, 2027.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid or eligible WA Speech-Language Pathology license (assistance to obtain available)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
- Willingness to complete OSPI fingerprinting for Washington schools
- Open to working within high school, middle school, or elementary settings
- Committed to onsite service—remote candidates will not be considered
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language interventions to students individually and in groups
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress and maintain accurate, timely records
- Engage with parents, teachers, and administrators to support student success and advocate for student needs
- Participate in ongoing professional development and school meetings
