Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Four 8-hour shifts per week (32 hours total)
  • Day shift

Key Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent required
  • ARDMS registry (or eligibility)
  • Proficiency in performing general ultrasound studies, including abdominal, small parts, OB/GYN, and vascular preferred
  • Previous experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer in a clinical setting
  • Strong communication skills, accuracy, and attention to patient comfort and safety
  • Ability to adapt to changing technology and workflow

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of general ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and department protocols
  • Properly identify, prepare, and position patients for each procedure
  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to interpret, verify, and present results
  • Assist with maintaining equipment and inventory of supplies
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies
  • Educate patients about the procedure, answering questions and offering reassurance
  • Document and record all findings accurately within electronic medical records

$2,735 - $2,883/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
