Our organization is in search of a dedicated and empathetic full-time (1.0 FTE) Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician to become part of our Regional Maternal Fetal Medicine team based in Grand Rapids and Muskegon. This is a remarkable opportunity to deliver specialized care while collaborating with experts in a nurturing and dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver expert care in Maternal Fetal Medicine, focusing on high-risk pregnancies and fetal complications.
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists, to develop comprehensive care plans and serve as the primary referral source.
  • Provide regional services primarily in Grand Rapids, with occasional travel to Muskegon as required.
  • Engage in the education and training of medical students and residents.
  • Benefit from support staff, including a Medical Assistant and sonographer, at all office locations.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with the MFM Partner/Medical Director, primarily handling phone consultations with hospital visits as necessary.
  • Currently, the team includes one community provider and one contract provider associated with a residency clinic.

Qualifications:
  • Open to both seasoned professionals and recent graduates.
  • Candidates must be board certified in their specialty or board eligible, with the expectation to achieve board certification within two years of eligibility.
  • A valid State of Michigan license is required upon employment.
  • Possession of a DEA license is necessary.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
