Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate expertise in regional anesthesia and obstetric anesthesia.
  • Manage a diverse range of cases, including:
    • General Surgery
    • Urology
    • Retina
    • Gynecology
    • Vascular
    • Orthopedics
    • Podiatry
    • Dentistry
    • ENT
    • Endoscopy
    • Thoracic
    • Occasional Pediatrics
  • Oversee operations in 9 operating rooms and manage 1-3 endoscopy rooms daily.
  • Provide support for the catheterization lab as required.
  • Cover the Burdett Care Center, our Labor and Delivery unit.
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons in an Anesthesia Care Team model.

Troy, NY, is conveniently located just a short drive north of Albany, the state capital. The area offers easy access to Saratoga, the Adirondacks, and the Berkshires, providing endless outdoor activities throughout the year. Additionally, the Finger Lakes region, New York City, and Boston are all within a 2-3 hour drive. The Capital Region features an excellent public school system along with various private schooling options. Albany International Airport is also easily reachable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:

  • Annual salary of $600,000
  • On-call ratio of 1:8, with optional extra call compensated additionally
  • Day off following on-call duty
  • Optional second call with additional compensation
  • Signing bonus of $100,000 for a two-year commitment
