Obstetrician Gynecologist Hospitalist
Job Description
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is in search of a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN Hospitalist to join our team at a prominent hospital in Lower Manhattan. This role will be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide in-house obstetrical coverage and oversee clinical care for patients on the labor floor.
- Supervise and manage care for antepartum and postpartum inpatients.
- Oversee gynecologic consultations, including those that may require surgical intervention.
- Act as the Attending for Physician Assistants.
- Engage in continuing medical education and contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives.
The salary for this position is competitive and based on qualifications and experience, with a base salary range starting at $300,000. This package includes excellent benefits, relocation assistance, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications- A medical degree is required.
- Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Board eligibility or certification in obstetrics and gynecology.
- A valid New York State Medical License or the ability to obtain one.
- A strong commitment to excellence in patient care and education.
