Treasure Valley Veterinary Hospital (Kuna)
Kuna, ID, US Full Time

Job Description

Job Description

At our organization, you will become part of a practice dedicated to our enduring principle: "Deliver exceptional veterinary care while ensuring outstanding customer service." Since our establishment in 1980, we have fostered strong trust within the Meridian community and the broader Treasure Valley region, as evidenced by our impressive 4.8-star rating on Google and our recent nomination for Boise Favorites by a local publication. If you are enthusiastic about medical excellence and committed to client service, this is an opportunity where you can truly make a difference and advance your veterinary career.

We recognize that optimal pet care begins with well-supported team members. While we are deeply embedded in the local community, we are also part of a larger network that prioritizes providing all team members with the necessary resources for success. This includes access to internal specialty consultations and continuous educational opportunities aimed at helping you achieve your full career potential, whether that involves pursuing advanced credentials or stepping into leadership roles. We are committed to offering the structure you need to excel in your work every day.

Your professional development will be enhanced by a comprehensive range of services focused exclusively on small animal medicine. Our offerings include extensive wellness and preventive care, advanced diagnostic capabilities, and surgical procedures. Importantly, we provide extended Urgent Care hours until 10 PM throughout the week, ensuring you are prepared to handle critical cases and deliver essential acute care to the Meridian community. You will collaborate with a team of five veterinarians dedicated to maintaining the high clinical standards that have characterized our practice for over four decades.

Situated in the vibrant Treasure Valley area of Idaho, our hospital is located in Meridian, serving nearby communities, including Kuna. You will be part of a region that actively supports and appreciates its local businesses, as highlighted by our recent community award nomination. This area fosters a supportive and engaged atmosphere, allowing you to cultivate meaningful relationships with clients and their pets that extend beyond individual appointments, enhancing both your professional fulfillment and quality of life.

Your Daily Responsibilities
  • Establish Lasting Connections: Build relationships with clients and their pets, becoming a trusted partner in their lifelong health journey.
  • Deliver Exceptional Care: From diagnosis to treatment, you will lead patient care while adhering to the highest standards.
  • Inform and Empower: Clearly convey findings and treatment plans, enabling clients to make informed choices.
  • Collaborate and Develop: Work with a supportive paraprofessional team, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
  • A valid state license in good standing to practice.
  • A collaborative mindset and a commitment to practicing at the highest level.
  • Strong communication skills paired with a friendly, positive demeanor.
