You’ll collaborate with a dedicated school team, delivering quality OT services to help students achieve their academic, social, and personal goals.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current and valid OT license in the state
- Previous experience providing occupational therapy in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs and school-based therapy documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff
- Ability to independently manage a diverse caseload
- Comfortable with adaptive equipment and sensory integration strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of needs
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to facilitate learning in the school setting
- Maintain accurate and timely records, progress notes, and assessments
- Help students build fine motor, visual motor, and self-care skills for classroom participation and independence
- Participate in IEP meetings and support the multidisciplinary team with OT insights
- Adapt and modify materials or environments to support student access and achievement
This position is based in a supportive school environment and runs full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM, beginning as soon as possible through May 28, 2027. It’s the ideal setting for making a direct impact while expanding your OT experience with a diverse student body.
