Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Connecticut
- Prior experience in a K-12 or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and adapt to new environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to high-functioning PK and elementary school students two days per week (8:15am–3:30pm, 30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Split student caseload and service time with the full-time SLP; see each assigned student for designated sessions
- Conduct evaluations and participate in PPTs (Planning and Placement Teams)
- Maintain accurate service records and support students’ Individualized Education Plans
- Engage and communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and school teams
