Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Illinois
  • Experience working with school-aged children, ideally across K-12
  • Strong ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
  • Familiarity with IEPs and creating therapy goals within an educational environment
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Compassionate approach and dedication to fostering student independence

Position Details & Responsibilities:

  • Contract runs from August 20, 2026, through June 9, 2027
  • Provide services two days per week (for a total of 14 hours per week)
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized physical therapy programs
  • Support students with a range of physical needs, helping them achieve mobility and participation goals
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, offering PT insights for student progress
  • Maintain accurate records, and assist in developing and updating student IEPs as needed
