We are excited to announce an opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible Obstetric Hospitalist to become part of our dedicated team of physicians in the Northern Illinois area.

Opportunity Overview

• Location: Freeport, Illinois
• Employment Type: Full-time, hospital-employed position
• Work Environment: 100% inpatient care
• Shifts: Eight 24-hour shifts each month
• Responsibilities:
  • Manage labor and delivery, including cesarean sections
  • Conduct inpatient rounding and discharges
  • Collaborate with our Northwest Regional Perinatal Center and Level III NICU located in Rockford, IL
• Referral Sources: Access to extensive multi-subspecialty referral networks
• On-Call Requirement: None!
• Electronic Medical Records: EPIC system
• Organization Type: 501(c)(3) non-profit

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program
• A minimum of three years of inpatient experience
• MD/DO board certified or board eligible
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional patient care
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $180.00
