School Psychologist - Dexter, New York

An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated School Psychologist ready to make an impact in the lives of students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. This full-time contract role centers on a single building, providing the unique chance to work consistently with the same school community. There is also flexibility for those seeking a part-time position (3-4 days onsite per week).

Key responsibilities include conducting assessments and offering counseling services. You’ll play a vital role in supporting around 50 students through testing, approximately 10 students through counseling, and up to 10 initial evaluations. This position allows you to collaborate with a diverse group of students, including those with autism, various learning disabilities, speech and language challenges, as well as deaf and hard of hearing students.

Desired qualifications and skills:

• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
• Certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
• Ability to conduct comprehensive psychological testing and evaluations

• Comfortable supporting a K-12 population in one building
• Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain accurate documentation
