Required Background and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous K-12 school-based experience preferred
  • Experience or interest in teletherapy platforms and tools
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to adapt strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services, both in-person and via teletherapy
  • Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Write and maintain accurate records, progress reports, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals to foster student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional input on goals and outcomes
  • Provide consultation and training to staff and family members as appropriate
