Make a difference in students’ communication skills through a rewarding contract assignment supporting a local school community. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist seeking to provide both on-site and teletherapy services.
Required Background and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous K-12 school-based experience preferred
- Experience or interest in teletherapy platforms and tools
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services, both in-person and via teletherapy
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Write and maintain accurate records, progress reports, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals to foster student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional input on goals and outcomes
- Provide consultation and training to staff and family members as appropriate
