Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from preschool through high school as a Speech Language Pathologist. This school-based position offers the chance to make a significant impact while working onsite with a dedicated educational team throughout the academic year, from August 6th to May 28th. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll provide essential services to a manageable caseload of approximately 60 students per SLP. You’ll be based at 1-2 campuses, which may include early childhood, elementary, middle, high school, or a life skills program—with specific assignments tailored to your strengths and preferences.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience or strong interest supporting pre-K through 12th grade
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexible, team-oriented, and compassionate approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Document student progress and maintain thorough records
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Serve students at 1-2 diverse school campuses onsite (no virtual option)
- Support a range of communication needs, adapting methods for age and ability
