Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Connecticut SLP-CCC license (required)
- Proven experience as an SLP in a school setting, preferably with children and adolescents
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, evaluations, documentation, and therapy delivery
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and administrators
- Ability to adapt services for varied student needs and educational levels
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in group or individual formats
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate student records
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and families on communication strategies
