Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Delaware (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience or strong interest working in school-based settings
- Familiarity with IEP process and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to providing direct, in-person therapy services
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students with varying needs
- Conduct assessments and assist in the development and implementation of IEPs
- Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain meticulous documentation in line with school and district protocols
- Participate in meetings, including the initial session scheduled for the morning of 8/7 for role specifics
- Provide ongoing feedback and progress reports to stakeholders
