This contract school-based position is designed for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists who are eager to make a lasting impact. There are two exciting roles available for the 26/27 school year: one full-time role serving students through the academic year, and one part-time position to cover a 0.8 FTE maternity leave from August 19th through September 30th.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility in Ohio
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong collaborative skills to partner with educators, families, and support staff
- Ability to create engaging, individualized treatment and intervention plans
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver speech and language therapy services, both individually and in small groups
- Maintain thorough, timely records and progress reports in compliance with school procedures
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to support student integration and success
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and school-based professional development
