Job Description
Make a real impact on K-12 students’ lives as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational setting near Irvine, CA. This contract opportunity is exclusively onsite, offering 35 hours per week and the chance to work alongside dedicated professionals in a supportive environment.
You’ll have a direct hand in supporting students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral well-being, collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to ensure every child’s success. This assignment begins August 10, 2026, and the interview process will be moving quickly with director availability on Friday, August 7.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid California School Psychologist credential
- Minimum of two years of school-based experience in California
- Proven ability to provide services for students across K-12 grade levels
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with school teams, students, and families
- Expertise in assessments, IEP development, counseling, and intervention strategies
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings and develop intervention plans
- Support the IEP process, providing insight and recommendations
- Deliver direct counseling services to students
- Consult with educators and parents to address student needs and promote positive outcomes
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment
