School Psychologist - Middletown, OH

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist
• Previous experience working as a school psychologist in a K-12 setting strongly preferred
• Proficient in conducting assessments, writing reports, and providing recommendations for students’ educational planning
• Understands and adheres to state and federal guidelines for special education services
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
• Collaborative mindset for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for assessment
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions and support plans
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the creation and revision of IEPs
• Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and counseling as needed
• Assist in developing behavior intervention plans for students requiring additional support
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure timely completion of all documentation
