Make a meaningful impact during the 26/27 academic year by supporting students’ communication needs in educational settings. Two contract Speech-Language Pathologist opportunities are available: one full-time position for the entire school year and a part-time (0.8 FTE) role covering a maternity leave from August 19 to September 30. These roles involve working collaboratively within school teams to deliver high-quality speech and language services that help students thrive socially and academically.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Ohio
  • Experience working in educational or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to create tailored treatment plans and thorough documentation
  • Familiarity with school-based assessments and IEP processes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments as part of a school-based team
  • Develop individualized intervention plans and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Deliver therapy services per student needs and educational goals, both individually and in groups
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate outcomes to parents and staff
  • Support multidisciplinary teams in fostering a positive learning environment
