Occupational Therapist School Setting in Graceville, FL

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing Occupational Therapy services in a dynamic school-based setting near Graceville, FL! This full-time role offers the chance to impact students’ growth and success, working collaboratively with educators and families. You’ll enjoy regular hours—35 hours per week from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM—and the opportunity to foster meaningful progress throughout the school year, beginning ASAP through May 28, 2027.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Florida
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Previous experience working in schools (preferred)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Able to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Familiarity with IEP process and related documentation
• Passion for helping students achieve their fullest potential

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students based on their IEPs
• Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and evaluate progress
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
• Create engaging activities to help students improve fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing thoughtful recommendations and reports
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Provide consultation and training to school staff as needed
