LHH is partnering with one of our long-standing real estate clients on this year long Accounts Payable Specialist contract position. This role will encompass full-cycle accounts payable including month-end support, accruals and multiple reconciliations. The position is fully onsite in a beautiful office location near Hudson Yards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, coding, approvals, and payment runs
  • Review, code, and process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and timely
  • Prepare and record AP accruals and assist with month-end close
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain vendor master files, including new vendor setup and W-9 documentation
  • Assist with AP aging, audit support, and ad hoc reporting
  • Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment inquiries
  • Support year-end processes, including W-2s and audit requests
Qualifications:
  • Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Vlookups) are a plus
  • Experience with Yardi is a plus
  • 1+ year of accounts payable experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Pay Details: $34.00 to $38.00 per hour
