School-Based Physical Therapist - Westland, Michigan
Job Description
Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a full-time Physical Therapist providing leave coverage from December through February. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students according to IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families on student progress and adaptive strategies
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on PT services and recommendations
- Adapt interventions to meet a range of physical abilities and educational settings
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Michigan Physical Therapist license (MI PT License required)
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children and collaborating with educational teams
- Familiarity with PT best practices in a school or pediatric healthcare environment preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
