Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a School Psychologist through Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE)
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• Experience working with middle and high school populations preferred

• Knowledge of best practices in assessment and intervention for diverse learners
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and compliance with special education regulations

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychological evaluations and assessments for middle and high school students
• Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings and contribute to individualized education plans
• Deliver counseling and intervention services that promote students’ academic, social, and emotional success
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop supportive interventions
• Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements
