Job Description
Our organization is in search of a full-time Neuroimmunologist/MS Specialist to become a part of our Hauenstein Neurosciences team situated in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
As a member of the esteemed Neuroscience Center, you will have access to a diverse array of subspecialty services, which include General Neurology, Alzheimer's and Memory Disorders, Headache Management, Movement Disorders and Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuromuscular conditions (such as ALS and MD), Neuro-Palliative and Supportive Care, Neuropsychology, Stroke, and Neurocritical Care.
Our approach to care is multidisciplinary, incorporating registered nurses (RNs), licensed medical social workers (LMSWs), and physical, occupational, and speech therapists. These professionals collaborate closely with providers to ensure the highest quality of clinical care, offering additional support beyond standard clinical practice, including access to dietitians, chaplains, and other supportive services.
Practice Features:- Become part of a cooperative team of over 75 Physicians and Advanced Practice Professionals.
- Contribute significantly to the development of our MS Center partnership as we strive to achieve MS Center of Excellence status.
- Engage in ongoing clinical trials and investigator-initiated research, supported by the Clinical Trials Unit in Grand Rapids.
- Participate in medical education through teaching roles within our neurology residency program.
- Completion of a fellowship in Neuroimmunology/MS.
- Physicians must hold board certification in their specialty or be board eligible, with the expectation of obtaining certification within two years of eligibility.
- A valid State of Michigan license is required upon employment.
- DEA license is necessary.
- BLS Certification is required, with ongoing recertification.
