Position Overview:

In this role, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver exceptional direct and indirect patient-centered care. You will:

• Coordinate patient care by collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
• Effectively communicate the patient's clinical status, promptly addressing any changes in condition or treatment response.
• Exhibit an understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan, ensuring age-appropriate care for the patient population.
• Advocate for the nursing profession and foster professional practice through supportive interactions with colleagues.

You will report directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

QualificationsEducation and Certification:

• Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program and hold a current nursing license in the State of Connecticut.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required upon hire or must be obtained during the introductory orientation period, with ongoing clinical competency maintained throughout employment.

Competencies:

• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written English.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
