If you’re passionate about making a difference in the lives of young students and excel in pediatric speech-language pathology, consider this contract opportunity supporting schools in the Dearborn, MI area. This position is full time, operating across two buildings with flexible start and end times to accommodate your needs. You’ll be working with a caseload of approximately 50 students, ranging from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade.

Daily schedules align with campus levels:

  • PreK–Grade 1: 7:45 am to 4:15 pm
  • Grades 2–8: 7:15 am to 3:45 pm

You’ll also have an orientation period, ideally joining a day or two before students return, to ensure you feel welcomed and fully prepared.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Prior experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to varying building environments and grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Support the inclusion of students in both classroom and school activities
  • Provide consultative support and in-service training as needed
