Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
  • Licensure to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of North Carolina
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to PreK-5th grade students in accordance with their IEPs
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other providers to support student success
  • Document session notes, progress reports, and maintain compliance with all state, federal, and school regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Stay current with best practices in speech therapy for school-age children
